Picante Beef Steaks with Sautéed Onions

Ingredients
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 boneless beef sirloin steak, 3/4-in. thick (about 1-lb.), cut into 4 pieces
1 medium onion, cut in half and thinly sliced (about 1c.)
1 c. Pace® Picante Sauce

Directions:

1. Heat half the oil in a 12-in. skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook for 10 min. or until well browned on both sides. Remove the beef from the skillet. Pour off any fat.

2. Reduce the heat to medium. Heat the remaining oil in the skillet. Add the onion and cook until tender, stirring occasionally.

3. Stir the picante sauce in the skillet. Return the beef to the skillet. Cook the beef for 2 min. for medium or until desired doneness.
